Saliara is a beach on the east coast of Thassos, about 5 km south of Makryammos. The white sand and small white pebbles, giving a dazzling emerald crystal water of this beautiful "exotic beach!" Saliara (also called Marble, precisely because of the sand) is a small green bay, which until a few years ago was completely recluse.
The beach is situated in a small secluded bay, and to get there you must first find the hotel entrance Makryammos. Access is by car. Arriving at the entrance, take the dirt road from there (not good the way) carefully and continue for about 5 km. After a while you look the beach. It is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds, but do not have a fee to enter it. Although access is not easy, it is filled with people, particularly during peak periods.
